Sigh… 2 more days to the end of JAE… feeling so sad… and most probably I will leave my college for another one… don’t feel like blogging so much because the more I say, the more the feeling of my class will linger on and I cant bear the thought of leaving it… however I can honestly say that I do not regret coming into innova at all… even though I need to wake up at 6 plus in the morning and take around an hour’s journey to travel to school and another hour plus to travel back again… whereas someone just lives near the school only… hahaha… and I recently got to know someone ( a friend of a friend named sokmui) who travels a further distance than me… lol… finally someone who shares the same feeling of feeling sian when traveling long distance… =p
so here it goes… my experiences of 0723B for the past 2 months…
Starting out… I just live in the south part of Singapore and haven’t really been to the north part of Singapore… so I decided to search for the school first beforehand and familiarize myself with the place… took a bus and went a whole big round around woodlands before I can find where the school is =.= first visit to causeway point…
It was raining heavily on the day for subject combination talk… 26 dec… I still can remember it clearly… haha… took my first step into the school… it is way much bigger than my secondary school lah… went into a LT for the first time… is just so huge… and got air-con somemore… so comfortable… saw so many people… don’t even know where they come from… the talk went on and on and on… I was so bored… finally it was over after around 3 hours plus… =.=
First day of school… nearly late… was the last one to arrive to my class for assembly I think… haha… had orientation… met my OGLs and classmates… the guys were seriously outnumbered… lol… first day was about ice-breaking and games I think… got a lot of cheers and stuffs like learn how to sing school song (I will try to put up the lyrics of my sch song another time… hahaha)… my class bonded really well together (: then second day I think we had briefing on I@fun and amazing race..? We were actually conned lah… the amazing race was actually making us doing some publicity for I@fun… haha… then cca briefing… followed by the third day where we had war games… very fun… get to throw water bombs all around… haha… at night we were supposed to prepare a dance item… nearly ended up dancing with another guy but i changed it in the last minutes… lol… after that it as jam and hop… quite cool… they close all the doors and switch off all the lights in the hall… leaving the air-con on and the dj just blast the music to the max… even though I don’t really know how to dance but the whole atmosphere was just so HIGH lah… haha… very enjoyable…
Came the end of our three days orientation and start of lectures and tutorials… did not really got used to this system initially because it is quite different from secondary school… went around the school finding our class for tutorials and LTs for lectures… haha… oh ya… and the canteen is quite windy too… I think because of the great difference of air pressure between woodlands and…? I duno… like I said… I don’t really know the north part of Singapore well… lol… found out that we need to pay for our lecture notes and tutorials… not every worksheet is free now you know… unlike days in secondary school =.= took me a few days to know how to walk from the school back to the train station… haha…
I was actually quite guai during the first few weeks of school I think… attending all lectures… consistently doing my tutorials… but later on I just slacked all the way… haha… went to bowl after school… my score is below 50 I think… sob sob… I seriously suck at it T-T oh ya… did I tell you that my class has a German friend? His name is Alex… he came to join my class for the orientation only and then he went to the other class… but he likes to take photos of Singapore! Haha… he only come to Singapore for a year… reason being: he wants to improve his standard of English =.= had our first p.e lesson… after that I was so damn shacked man… nothing could have prepared me for it lah… it was completely different from secondary school p.e!
Came the cross country… (this is my second time because previously I had to do duty all the way =.=) I practically walked the whole of cross country with Nigel on that day lah… haha… and he even suggested the idea of rolling down the slope towards the end of it… Lol… and I think Gillian took a picture of me carrying meigui’s pink umbrella… haha… hey… I was sheltering them from the heat of the sun lah… lol… and that reminds me of the incident where meigui ‘painted’ my nails with her pink highlighter… XD and then munling took a pic of it… luckily she did not post it on her blog I think… hahas…
I remembered 8th feb and 9th feb… the day before I get back my O level results and on the day itself… I was so damn nervous… kept on praying… is all in the past now… I can only lift my head up and move forward…
next was the I@fun… I kept asking people to come but they didn’t want to come T-T in the end I think only jiamin and her ny friend came… lol… the funfair was not what I had expected or how fun the teachers had put it to be… but anyway I think it was still quite successful given that we still had fun watching the vp, teachers playing gladiator, people getting dunked, supernova rock bad competition, campus superstar and superhosts coming down and enjoying the festive mood of classes selling food and beverage and merchandises… the funfair was only marred by the other j2 class who copied our idea of doing the xbox… and they still dare to say we undercut them and stuffs… I am liked HELLO… our proposal was agreed very long time ago and (especially) to the form teacher of the other class: it was your idea which was rejected and u copied our idea… now u accused us of undercutting u.?! wad nonsense is this.?! We were kind enough to let u use the same idea and now u r trying to take advantage of it.?!!! Anyway our I@fun coupon sales were confirm higher dan yours! You see this.?! Imitator!!! Haha… =p
all the way to the last few weeks of jae… most of the people withdrawed T-T but people like afiq and layjia are coming back… yeah! And some people from other class transferred top our class… so the number of students increased again =) ponned somemore lectures and tutorials… didn’t really paid attention during lectures and did not really do tutorials… lol… (to MG: don’t worry… I will do my best to finish all the tutorials and not slack anymore de! Hahas… I know is hard for me… but I am trying my very best de!) hang around causewaypoint after school… quite familiar with the place now… lol… and had our class bbq! Stayed over at gillian’s place and played bridge non-stop… from night all the way to the morning… haha… and… oh ya… my class has this bridge-craze… LOL we were like playing bridge all the time lah… plus ppl lyk spiky and funnyface (I forgotten your name temporarily HAha) and ziyang joined us occasionally… XD dan kena caught by teacher leh… bud my bridge skills improved by quite a bit… haha… so it was worth it! =)
went to crash Anderson one day… it was so boring… shant talk about it… =.=
anyway I thought of the incident where Gerald and I ran a few rounds less around the tellytubby hill ( yes! The tellytubby hill! It is just next to my sch. Haha) and struggling during the ‘champions’ workout for p.e…. the positive thing about p.e was during games where we had Frisbee… kept thrashing the other team… see… our class very united together de… that’s why can play until so well.. lol…

p.e: er… practise somemore and train more…?
Econs: er… love the subject more…? Haha
Chemistry: er… be more crazy over the subject…? LOL
Maths: er… I duno… mug harder…?
Assembly: er… fun.?!
And lastly geo: er… I seriously have no idea because I only attended 1 lecture on it… hahaha…

Hahas… and I will try my very best to not slack anymore… =)
